Ele Studios is open to submissions from independent AI comic creators. No agents. No gatekeepers. Just your work and our editorial team

What we’re looking for — and what we’re not.

✓  We want

✓ Original stories with something real to say

✓ AI-illustrated work — directed with intention, not generated by prompt lottery

✓ Topics that matter: mental health, identity, adolescence, belonging, grief

✓ A consistent visual style across the whole work — even imperfect

✓ A complete or nearly complete manuscript (40+ pages)

✓ First-time creators with no publishing history — this is not a barrier

✕  We don’t want

✕ Generic fantasy or superhero stories without a fresh angle

✕ Work where the AI clearly ran on autopilot — inconsistent characters, stock compositions

✕ Stories that exist mainly to show off the tools

✕ Unfinished pitches with no pages — we need to see the actual work

✕ Content that sexualises minors or incites violence

How it works.

Submit your work

Fill in the form below. Include a synopsis, 10–20 sample pages, and a brief note on your visual style and tools.

We read everything

We reply within 4 weeks. Every submission gets a real read — not a form rejection. We tell you why if it’s a no.

Editorial conversation

If we’re interested, we schedule a call. We talk about the story, the vision, and whether there’s a real fit.

Publication

We work together on finalising the book — layout, copy, launch strategy. You keep creative ownership.
